Making Tax-Efficient Charitable Gifts That Leave a Lasting Impact

Charitable giving is an important aspect of many clients’ financial plans. All too often, tax mitigation dominates the planning discussion; a client’s philanthropic motivations and their desire to “do good” can get lost. This session will focus on how to use the right charitable planning tools to optimize a client’s financial plan and avoid potential lurking issues in their gift plans, all while delivering a meaningful charitable impact.

You will learn:
  • Which financial instruments (e.g., donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts, private foundations) best align with client goals
  • How to identify potential risks and challenges in gift planning and how to navigate them effectively
  • Strategies to ensure that charitable contributions create meaningful and lasting benefits
