Give Your Students Access to a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Financial Services Profession

Help Your Students Go Beyond the Classroom and Explore Careers in Financial Services

NAIFA’s Future Financial Professionals program is a free, live, 90-minute career exploration experience designed to help college students better understand the opportunities available across the financial services profession.

Your students will hear from accomplished insurance and financial professionals, explore the many career paths available across the profession, learn what it takes to succeed, and have the opportunity to ask questions in real time.

Future Financial Professionals is completely free for both students and participating colleges and universities. There is no registration fee or cost to attend.

Why Share Future Financial Professionals with Your Students? It can help students:

  • Connect academic concepts with real-world careers
  • Understand the range of professions available within financial services
  • Hear candid perspectives from practitioners
  • Identify skills employers and clients value
  • Explore potential internships and career paths
  • Begin building a professional network
  • Make more informed decisions about their careers

  • Faculty Toolkit

This toolkit gives faculty and university partners practical materials to introduce students to NAIFA's Future Financial Professionals program. Each element is designed for direct use or light customization across email, learning management systems, classrooms, campus communications, and social media.

How you can help promote the program -
    1. Send an email and flyer to relevant classes, advisees, majors, and/or student organizations.  To assist you, we have a number of ready-to-send emails that we have drafted for you.  Please feel free to personalize them and explain why you think the program should interest them. We have also created a flyer promoting the next session that you can attach or post as you see fit.

    2. Post an announcement in your learning-management system or campus career platform.

    3. Share it in class or with student groups as part of a presentation.
    4. Share social media posts through department or institutional channels.
    5. Offer extra credit for attending and completing the session.

Still have questions?  Feel free to review our Frequently Asked Questions guide or email Michele Borsuk for assistance.
